Flying Carpet

The Flying Carpet was designed in the 1980s by Simon Desanta for Rosenthal. The seat is made of black leather and the back out of light pink fabrics, it stands on a heavy white metal base. A nice little detail is that the leather can be removed by unzipping it. What is left is a true square shaped light pink flying carpet. It is truly one of the most unique pieces of the post-modern German design.
